"The Hypocrisy of the Tolerance Movement"

Maurine Proctor, a brilliant and good woman who I knew while living in Washington D.C., wrote an excellent article on the terrorism that is occurring against our Church in major cities across the U.S., particularly those in California. Stay strong, Manhattan, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Oakland.
Our leaders know what they are doing. I know this is true.
What is astounding to me, is that I live in Salt Lake City, and people in our own Stakes are saying that our leaders are wrong on this point. Last days, here we come.

I had just been in Idaho (my homestate) where everything is so black and white. Of course they were for Proposition 8. Of course they trusted the brethren.
I guess I was astonished not only at the fierce backlash from nonmormons, but at the members of our Church who are not only walking on unstable ground, but are poised to lose everything: happiness in this life and all of the blessings of the next.
I must follow the Brethren. That is my only chance.
My heart breaks concerning people who think that they can 'see' better than our prophets.
