This is one of the only pictures that I have on hand of Lezlie and I (which is so sad for life was a great adventure with her, and I had some of my cutest years while we were friends:). In this picture we had just returned from our missions and are at one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World south of Rio Gallegos, Argentina, I believe. It was a wonderous iceberg.
I think of all of the Natural Wonders of the World, I rate Lezlie above an iceberg, anyday. I am serious.

I wanted to wish the BYU soccer player who came knocking on my dorm room door 15 years ago a sweet Happy Birthday.
I would have called her, but my phone was dropped and while everything looked fine, the keys would not work...her phone number was locked into the phone. It is amazing how we have lost the art of memorizing people's phone numbers because they are programmed into our phones.
Ten things about Amazing Lezlie:
1. She wanted to get a 'cap' (apparently what you get when you play a national team in soccer-Mia Hamm has the most 'caps'), so, while living in the Caribbean, she emailed surrounding islands and finally got a game with Trinidad. She had started the national team for her island. Who does that?
2. She believes that to score many goals in soccer, that you must have steak and eggs for breakfast. It works for her, for she scores and scores and scores.
3. She does not warm up before games, because she does not want to wear herself out.
4. Her husband is in his Residency in Tennessee and they have two gorgeous daughters.
5. She is arguably the best Mom, ever.
6. She has expensive taste
7. She makes the scriptures dance.
8. She served a mission of miracles in the southernmost mission in the world. She practically served in Antarctica. She was chronically ill, yet she kept creating miracles among the penguins.
9. She got so fluent in Castillano that locals thought that she was native.
10. She was an amazing EFY counselor and Building Counselor. She also can make fire without matches, which I seriously struggle with.
I am very blessed to have called her friend. I cannot think of Brigham Young University without her.
Happy Birthday, Lez.
