Is that Palin...Or Candice....(written by Drew)

Did anyone else watch Sarah Palin last night and think, "Hey, when did McCain choose Candice for a running mate?"

Energetic, electrifying, good, classy, former mayor of her hometown (Candice was voted in as mayor of Independence, Idaho by her family), etcetera.

This is Candice. My impression of the Vice-Presidential Candidate was amazement that such a beautiful Mother of five was running. I thought that the values that only a Mom could hold sacred would be represented.

The media are paintings her as one that does not have much experience, but neither does Obama.

My only concern is a 4-month old, and a young family. If her husband is as awesome as mine, it might work. On the other hand, she might be saving the country at the expense of her family.

I was torn.

Of course I will vote Republican. I do not want higher taxes or bigger government. I want the right people to be nominating conservative Supreme Court Justices.

I am not completely happy with McCain, but I am not dissatisfied enough to vote for Senator Obama.

Oh, how I long for Mitt Romney.

This is Candice again. I just watched Palin on YouTube that Drew had posted. I am smitten. I want to be a Mom that makes our country better.

I hope that she does.
