Brown Shoes and a Ward Christmas Party

This is about the closest Sarah could get to Santa without crying. He made another visit last night with all of her cousins. Same visitor, same results.

Our ward activities chair is super diligent. She had thank-you cards written for everyone like 15 hours after the activity was over (I still owe my grandparents notes from presents I got like 26 years ago).
You can tell she wrote it after the party.

You were a great Santa, Andrew. I thought that the brown shoes added to your Santa-ness. Okay, not really, but you were a graet Santa.

To clarify, Andrew played Santa at our ward Christmas party. This is his second time. He is a great Santa.

The next day, at our family dinner, he pulled the Santa suit from the back of our truck, and played Santa for all of the cousins, and an extremely excited next door neighbor.

Funny that Sarah wasn't having anything to do with Santa, even though it was Andrew. I guess Santa is normally portrayed having black shoes, but that doesn't mean he can't change it up a little. Our Bishop doesn't like Santa (for a December Baby such as myself, this hard to understand) so we had the Three Wiseman at our Ward Party.

I for one liked the Santa. Paul even went on his lap. The one that I thought wouldnt did and the one that I thought for sure would didnt. Go figure. Anyway thanks Andrew. I thought that you was awesome. Have a Merry Christmas

I'm impressed that the kid noticed the shoes. My kids are too busy checking out the beard to notice anything else.
