Rain Explanation

Explanation of my new found rain love:

In Idaho, it does not rain down.

When I was young, I would look at a blue sky, and dread would fill me. For some reason, at least that summer, intense blue sky brought in rain. Not just any rain, but windy, haily, freezing, in your face, tree falling down, power outage, lightning fire, landscape destroying rain.

Here, it just rains down (not sideways, coldly slapping you in the face); it is a pitter, patter rain, cooling things down and making them green, and giving a little afternoon nap darkness.

So, my Idaho friends, I like the rain in Utah. It rains down.

I like watching the rain. And I love jumping in puddles... I don't think I'll ever outgrow that. But really, rainy days= curly hair. When I was in San Diego last weekend, it was overcast and rainy the whole time. As much as I love my beautiful San Diego, I really just love my sunshine more!

I love the rain so much too! I get so happy anytime it's really cloudy in raining... must be growing up in Seattle that does it to you :)

How is the Poodler coming along?!

I remember as a kid visiting cousins in Arizona and being absolutely dumbfounded that it was still hot when it rained. I thought rain turned every corner of the world ice-cold like it did in Idaho.

p.s. i like your new photo of your cute kiddo.
