Ski for Free

Did you know that Alta Sunnyside lift on the Albion Basin is open for free from 3 p.m. til close? And that the Bunny Hill is free all day?

I took advantage of this great news while wearing 18-year-old ski pants (with a nice rip in the bottom), toting 15-year-old borrowed skis (thank you Katrina for taking up snowboarding), with a 4-year-old who grew out of her high-water snow pants last year....

But it did not matter for we had a blast on the sunny, bunny hill of Alta. Thank you Alta for letting us ski free every day until Sarah is thoroughly addicted and shaking to conquer your more advanced slopes.

Until then, this why it is great to live in Utah.
