Christmas

Christmas was wonderful this year.
I worked hard and was so excited that I woke my children up Christmas morning.  Who does that?
Andrew took pictures on the stairs as we waited to investigate what Santa brought.  It was our first year telling the Santa story and using it for the Holiday.  Andrew really becomes the story.  I am still working on it, but it was magic nonetheless.
Peter Knox loves Grandad.  It felt like he knew him when he would give humongous gummy smiles.
It is interesting what the children love and play with.  It was not the new scooter.  It was some paper dolls that they helped me make and its little living room scene.  Oh, yes, and a Spiderman hat with gloves that he sleeps in.
Elf is one of our favorite Christmas shows.  Andrew is sporting his "Four Elf Food Groups" shirt: Candy, Candy Canes, Candy Corn, and of course, Syrup.  So true.
Again, it was the simple gifts.  Sarah is in heaven with her Christmas kitty.  We found it on Craigslist, and it happened to be anonymously listed by one of our cousins (Brett and Jan Bagley).  Awww, the joy of moving back to your hometown.
Merry Christmas!
