Big Sky, Montana

It had been barely a month since Andrew had started his new business, Valley Help at Home. In efforts to save money, we had foregone Christmas presents, but when Aunt Brandi and Uncle Steve Lofgran and their 7 awesome children asked us to accompany them to Big Sky, Montana, a.k.a what skiing in heaven is like, we struggled, but then we thought, 'how can we deny a great memory?'

And it was a great memory.  We will never remember missing work, or the money that we spent.

But we will not forget how we loved being together.  How could we have forgotten how addicting skiing is?

And the best part for me.

I taught my brave and wonderful 6-year-old to pizza pie like a pro.  And even brave the lift.

Seriously.  We were both in heaven.

We had accomplished something special.

Something hard to do.

I am forever in debt to the Lofgran's for granting us Big Sky.

And thank you, Big Sky.  I will be back next year, and the next and the next and the next.
